This developed region near Dan-shui River in early days was once called Meng-Jia. It was an important business northern port of Taiwan in early days. This office was established on July 1st 1968. In the beginning, it was in a rented office and the address was 1-3 floor, No.15, Gui-Yang Street. With their increasing businesses and lack of office space, this office was moved to the new address: 1-4 floor, No.138, Section 2, Zhang-Sha Street in 1973. Afterwards, the Tax Withholding Section has been established due to the rapid economic development and the prompt growth of tax auditing and collecting business in 1975. In 1982, this bureau carried out the policy of functionality organization and the Revenue Service Office has been then reorganized to be an office with 4 sections: Services Section、Assessment Section、Data Section and Collecting Section. It rented its present location to Taipei Fubon Bank and Taipei Revenue Service in 1985. In 2003, this office has established Service Section, Consolidated Income Tax Section 1 and 2, Profit-seeking Enterprise Income Tax Section and Sales Tax Section.
